With Prof. Valeria Zotti, I co-organised the first hybrid workshop of our Artificial Intelligence & Humanities (101) research network. We were hosted in the spectacular Research Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
The workshop was our first hybrid gathering, attended by over 80 academics from across the network and featuring talks on topics ranging from machine translation and cognitive science to teacher training and English literature. A core part of the day was shared discussion around emerging courses and programmes on AI in the humanities and how pedagogical approaches to AI can be shaped across universities.
